Bag policy

All bags are inspected at the entrances. Take a moment to look over Martinsville Speedway’s official list of permitted and prohibited items, which includes rules for food, drinks, and fan gear. Tickets and entry

• Friday: Opens at 11:30 AM
• Saturday: Opens at 11:30 PM
• Sunday: Opens at 8:00 AM

Parking information

The NASCAR race at Martinsville Speedway attracts large crowds, and parking fills up fast. Free general parking is available on site, but it usually involves a longer walk. Premium paid parking is closer to the gates and more convenient, though it comes with an added fee. Off-site parking is limited, so watch posted signs to avoid fines or towing. If you’re staying nearby, rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft are an easy way to skip the parking hassle altogether.

For big race weekends like the Xfinity 500, parking areas typically open by mid-morning. Arriving early helps you get ahead of traffic, move through security with ease, and gives you extra time to enjoy the Fan Zone, pre-race festivities, and live entertainment before the racing begins.

On Friday and Saturday, the parking lots usually open at 11:00 AM, while on Sunday – race day – they open early at 7:00 AM.
