Martinsville Speedway is committed to making race day accessible and enjoyable for every fan. From designated seating areas to convenient parking and on-site transportation, the facility provides a range of services to support guests with disabilities and their companions.
Martinsville Speedway offers accessible seating in two main locations. Fans can choose spots beneath the Old Dominion Tower between Turns 1 and 2 or the front row of the Bill France Grandstands in Turns 3 and 4. Each space is designed for wheelchair use, with the option to purchase additional companion seats so groups can stay together.
Accessible parking is provided behind Turn 2 on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are asked to display a valid handicapped parking permit on the rearview mirror before entering the property, along with a photo ID for verification. The permit must show valid decals and can only be used if the person it was issued to is in the vehicle, either as the driver or passenger.
To help fans get around the grounds, Martinsville Speedway operates handicap assistance golf carts in partnership with Raceway Ministries. These carts connect the ADA lot, campground, and main gates, though they do not make individual stops at campsites or specific parking spaces. Because of high demand, especially in the two to three hours before the green flag, wait times can stretch to nearly an hour. After the race, service is paused for about 45 minutes to allow pedestrian traffic to clear before carts resume operation.
Guests planning to use ADA services are encouraged to arrive early, allow extra travel time, and be prepared for occasional delays during peak hours. With proper planning, Martinsville Speedway aims to make race day accessible and enjoyable for every fan.
